Mirage Retractable Screen Doors

Fresh air in, bugs out, and nothing blocking your view. The Mirage 1750 is Mirage’s most popular retractable screen door. It mounts to the side of your door frame, glides across on top and bottom tracks, and rolls completely out of sight when you’re not using it.

Standard Handle – clean, low-profile, and the go-to choice for most doors.

PivotPro Handle – a Mirage exclusive. A simple twist releases the magnet for easy one-handed opening.

Recessed Handle – sits flush with the frame for doorways without room for a protruding handle.

Mirage 1750 retractable screens on French doors

For French and double doors, two screens mount on either side of the frame and meet in the middle with a magnet. Pin one side in place and use the other to come and go. A French set covers openings up to 10 ft wide.

Mirage 1750 – the standard retractable screen door. Up to 5 ft wide and 9 ft high. Fits entry doors, French doors, sliding patio doors, and double doors (outswing, pivot, and bi-fold).

Mirage 1750R Retained Mesh – the mesh is locked into the top and bottom tracks so pets, kids, and bugs can’t push underneath. Up to 40″ wide single or 80″ wide French, up to 9 ft high.

8 standard colors, 18 Diamond Series colors, or a custom color match.

Mirage Retractable Screen Doors Are Smooth, Durable, and Built to Last

Mirage has been building retractable screens since 1997 and has more than 500,000 installed across North America. The 1750’s smooth glide comes from Teflon-infused pull bar guides and a brass bushing in the rolling mechanism, which also extends the life of the screen. The housing is powder-coated aluminum, and the Mirage Super Magnet latch is anti-corrosive, so it won’t rust.

Mirage cycle-tests its retractable screens more than 250,000 times, which simulates about 69 years of regular use. Every 1750 and 1750R is backed by a limited lifetime warranty covering all components against manufacturer defects (the mesh itself is excluded). Warranty work goes through an authorized Mirage dealer.

Every screen is custom-sized to your opening. Most installs take 1–2 hours, and a 1750R typically takes 30 minutes to an hour.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s the difference between the Mirage 1750 and 1750R?

The 1750’s mesh floats in the tracks. The 1750R locks the mesh into the top and bottom tracks, so small pets and kids can’t push under it and the mesh can’t blow out. The 1750 goes up to 5 ft wide; the 1750R goes up to 40″ wide single or 80″ wide French.

How big can a Mirage retractable screen door be?

A single 1750 goes up to 5 ft wide and 9 ft high. As a French set, two screens cover openings up to 10 ft wide. For wider openings, see the Mirage 3500 large opening screen.

What handle options are available?

Standard, PivotPro, or Recessed. The PivotPro is a Mirage exclusive that releases the magnet with a simple twist.

What warranty comes with a Mirage screen door?

A limited lifetime warranty covering all components against manufacturer defects, excluding the mesh. As your authorized Mirage dealer, we handle warranty work for you.
